Bayenghem sera \u00e9rig\u00e9 en baronnie pour les Northout, passera aux Divion et ensuite aux Lesergeant de Bayenghem.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Bayenghem terre du comt\u00e9 de Guines<\/h2>\n<p>La terre de Guines est \u00e9rig\u00e9e en comt\u00e9 en 962 par Arnoul II, comte de Flandre. Au XIIIe si\u00e8cle, le comt\u00e9 de Guines est form\u00e9 de quatre ch\u00e2tellenies ou fiefs principaux: Guines, Ardres, Tournehem et Audruicq. La terre \u00e0 clocher de Bayenghem, ainsi que la seigneurie de Monnecove, rel\u00e8vent de la ch\u00e2tellenie de Tournehem.<br \/>\nLes limites de cette ch\u00e2tellenie sont bien \u00e9tablies d&#8217;apr\u00e8s le registre aux fiefs de la ch\u00e2tellenie de Tournehem, dress\u00e9 en 1543 d&#8217;apr\u00e8s les registres et terriers des si\u00e8cles pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n<h2>les seigneurs de Northout, barons de Bayenghem<\/h2>\n<p>Au 14\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, les seigneurs de Northout poss\u00e8dent un fief \u00e0 Bayenghem.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-621 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/histoiresdefamilles.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Z-Northout-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><br \/>\nA sa mort en 1402, Antoine de Northout laisse de sa femme Marie de Hardentun trois fils Jacques, Guiscard et Jean. Les deux fr\u00e8res a\u00een\u00e9s \u00e9tant eux-m\u00eames morts vers 1436 sans laisser d\u2019enfant m\u00e2le, leurs biens passent \u00e0 leur fille et le troisi\u00e8me fils Jean re\u00e7oit en partage la terre de Bayenghem et demeure chef de la maison avec peu de biens.<br \/>\nSes descendants Jean, puis Guillaume et \u00e0 nouveau Jean qui sera le premier baron de Bayenghem, conservent ces biens \u00e0 la famille de Northout.<\/p>\n<p>En 1542, Maximilien de Bourgogne (le Grand B\u00e2tard de Bourgogne), seigneur de Tournehem, \u00e9rige la terre de Bayenghem en seigneurie vicomti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Le 1er mars 1545, par lettre de Maastricht, l\u2019empereur Charles Quint \u00e9rige en baronnie la terre de Bayenghem pour Jean de Northout, capitaine de la ville de Dunkerque, conseiller et ma\u00eetre d\u2019h\u00f4tel de la reine Marie, douairi\u00e8re de Hongrie, r\u00e9gente des Pays Bas.<br \/>\nSon fils Antoine, capitaine du ch\u00e2teau de Gand et bailli de Tenremonde lui succ\u00e8de comme baron de Bayenghem. Antoine de Northout a une fille unique et h\u00e9rit\u00e8re Anne de Northout qui \u00e9pouse Eustache de Cro\u00ff, seigneur de Creseques, de Clarques et de Wich. Ils n\u2019ont pas d\u2019enfant et c\u2019est Fran\u00e7ois Henry de Cro\u00ff, deuxi\u00e8me fils d\u2019Eustache de Cro\u00ff et de sa seconde \u00e9pouse Louise d\u2019Oignies qui devient seigneur de Northout et baron de Bayenghem.<\/p>\n<h2>la baronnie de Bayenghem passe aux Divion<\/h2>\n<p>Le 10 avril 1603, Fran\u00e7ois Henry de Cro\u00ff vend la terre et baronnie de Bayenghem \u00e0 Fran\u00e7ois de Divion<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-622\" src=\"https:\/\/histoiresdefamilles.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/Z-DIVION.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"182\" \/>, chevalier, seigneur d\u2019Estreielles et de Cantereine, et colonel d\u2019infanterie. Fran\u00e7ois de Divion s\u2019\u00e9tait illustr\u00e9 en 1581 dans la d\u00e9fense de Tournai en qualit\u00e9 de lieutenant du prince d\u2019Epinoy, gouverneur de la ville, contre le Duc de Parme. Par la suite, il s\u2019\u00e9tait ralli\u00e9 aux espagnols.<\/p>\n<p>La baronnie de Bayenghem restera dans la famille de Divion jusqu&#8217;en 1762.<\/p>\n<p>Le 19 juillet 1760, le baron Jacques Charles de Divion meurt \u00e0 Bayenghem en laissant un fils Balthazar et une fille Adela\u00efde. Ils hypoth\u00e8quent la terre, seigneurie et baronnie de Bayenghem le 31 ao\u00fbt 1761 avant de vendre la baronnie \u00e0 Eug\u00e8ne Henry Le Sergeant, seigneur de Lillette le 2 f\u00e9vrier 1762.<br \/>\nBalthazar de Divion dernier de Divion baron de Bayenghem s\u2019\u00e9teint \u00e0 Bayenghem le 25 juillet 1765, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 37 ans et sans h\u00e9ritier.
