Jean Ren\u00e9 Wilfrid, dit Wilfrid Chaigneau<\/a> na\u00eet en 1885 \u00e0 Sigournais en Vend\u00e9e.
\nSes \u00e9tudes en pharmacie le font verser dans le service auxiliaire par l’administration militaire
\nIl est re\u00e7u interne en pharmacie des h\u00f4pitaux de Paris au concours de 1907. Il officie \u00e0 l’h\u00f4pital Beaujon du 1er juillet 1907 au 31 mars 1908, \u00e0 l’h\u00f4tel-Dieu du 1er avril au 30 juin 1908, puis \u00e0 Necker du 1er juillet 1908 au 1er mars 1909.<\/p>\n

Il arrive \u00e0 Pleumartin en 1914, peut-\u00eatre pour un remplacement. C’est l\u00e0 qu’il rencontre Rachel Caillon qu’il \u00e9pousera en 1919. Le 2 novembre 1914, la commission de r\u00e9forme de Ch\u00e2tellerault confirme son affectation au service auxiliaire.<\/p>\n

Vers l’ann\u00e9e 1920, il reprend la pharmacie de Pleumartin, en succession du pharmacien Orillard. La pharmacie est situ\u00e9e c\u00f4t\u00e9 nord-est de la place.<\/p>\n

Wilfrid Chaigneau<\/a> installera ensuite la pharmacie rue de la R\u00e9publique, sur la placette en contrebas de l’\u00e9glise. C’est l\u00e0 qu’habite la famille, avec les deux enfants Maurice n\u00e9 en 1920 et Madeleine n\u00e9e en 1922.<\/p>\n

Wilfrid Chaigneau<\/a> d\u00e9c\u00e8de en 1954. Son fils Maurice<\/a> qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 interne biologiste des h\u00f4pitaux de Paris, reprend la pharmacie avec l’aide sa soeur Madeleine. Il cr\u00e9e aussi un laboratoire d’analyses m\u00e9dicales \u00e0 La Roche-Posay.<\/p>\n
